SOUNDCAT - WINDOWS BETA

Welcome, and thank you for trying Soundcat.

INSTALL
Close Soundcat and your DAW before installing or updating.
The installer adds Soundcat to the Start menu. You can also choose a
desktop shortcut and, when included, the VST3 instrument for x64 DAWs.
The VST3 goes into Program Files\Common Files\VST3\Soundcat.vst3.

FIRST PLAY
Open Soundcat from the Start menu and choose your audio device in Tools.
For a hardware keyboard or controller, open Tools > MIDI Settings.
Try Design to explore sounds with Randomize, Mutate and A/B morphing.
Your saved sounds stay on your computer when updating or uninstalling.

IN YOUR DAW
If you installed the VST3, restart your x64 DAW and rescan its plugins if
Soundcat does not appear. The x64 plugin needs a host that supports x64
VST3 plugins. This installer is for Windows, not macOS.

FEEDBACK
Please include the beta number shown by the installer, your Windows
version, audio/MIDI device, and DAW name/version if relevant. Tell us what
you did and what you expected. A saved sound or screenshot helps make
sound-design and morphing issues easier to reproduce.

UNINSTALL
Remove Soundcat through Windows Settings > Apps > Installed apps.
This removes the installed app and plugin but keeps your saved sounds
and preferences. No developer tools are needed to use this beta.
